Apollo Primary Care Network

What Apollo PCN Does

Apollo Primary Care Network (PCN) is a group of local GP practices working together to provide enhanced services for patients in our area. Through the PCN, patients may be offered appointments with a wider team of healthcare professionals, including pharmacists, physiotherapists, and social prescribers, as well as access to evening and weekend appointments.

In addition to Woodlands Surgery, Apollo PCN consists of;

The wider healthcare team can include additional roles including The Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) which provides funding to PCNs to employ a range of healthcare professionals.

Urgent Care Walk‑In Centre – George Eliot Hospital
Location: On the George Eliot Hospital site, Nuneaton
Open: 8am – 8pm, 7 days a week

You can attend for:

  • Minor injuries (sprains, minor fractures, cuts)
  • Minor illness (infections, stomach pain, rashes, eye problems)
  • Bites
  • Stings
  • Burns
  • Wound care

Coventry NHS Walk‑In Centre
Stoney Stanton Road, Coventry, CV1 4FS
Open: 8am – 10pm (Mon–Fri)
Reduced hours at weekends & bank holidays

Suitable for:

  • Minor illnesses and injuries
  • Skin complaints
  • Emergency contraception
  • Advice when GP is unavailable
